Star Bulk Announces Mr. Nobu Su Steps Down From the Position of Co-Chairman and Remains as Director


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 24, 2008) - Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (NASDAQ: SBLK) announced today that the Company's Co-Chairman Mr. Nobu Su has resigned from his position as Co-Chairman of the Board with immediate effect due to his heavy workload and his other business activities. Mr. Su will remain as a Director. Co-Chairman Mr. Petros Pappas has assumed the role of sole Chairman of the Board.
