Star Gold Submits Biological Evaluation on Its Longstreet Property to Forest Service

POST FALLS, ID--(Marketwire - December 3, 2010) - Star Gold Corp. (OTCBB: SRGZ) ("Star Gold" or the "Company") announced today, in conjunction with drilling operations proposed by the Company, that it has moved forward (in compliance with legal requirements set forth under Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) of 1973) with biological and cultural evaluations of its Longstreet Property in Nye County, Nevada located within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The evaluations were conducted, on behalf of Star Gold, by Enviroscientists, Inc. and will be reviewed by U.S. Forest personnel at the offices of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

The Company proposes to drill in three separate areas within the Longstreet Project with six drill sites in the northern portion of the project area, 48 drill sites in the central area, and six drill sites in the southern area. The proposed drilling areas were evaluated for potential effects on federally listed and United States Forest Service (USFS) sensitive species. The evaluation determined there will be no negative impact to endangered wildlife species from the proposed project activities. It has also been determined by Enviroscientists contractors that all culturally significant areas will be avoided within the proposed drilling areas and therefore will have no negative impact to any identified areas. The USFS is expected to approve a Plan of Operations which will allow Star Gold to conduct mineral exploration at Longstreet on National Forest lands. The Company looks forward to providing additional information as developments unfold.

Enviroscientists, Inc. (Enviroscientists) is an environmental consulting firm that specializes in assisting natural resource development industries and government clients with environmental effects and compliance with ever-changing regulations.
