Over 150 luxury cars, including Porsches, Bentleys, Aston Martins, Rolls Royces, Ferraris, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, BMWs and other iconic automotive car brands, will be out in full force at the ICAR Complex in Mirabel (12800 Henri Fabre, Mirabel, QC) on Sunday, August 28, 2016 for the 4th Annual Drive 4 Smiles (D4S) to benefit Starlight Children's Foundation Canada. Drivers will provide seriously ill children the opportunity to enjoy speed controlled rides around the track, where kids get to play the thrilling role of co-pilots inside some of the world's most powerful cars.

D4S celebrations will commence at Porsche Prestige, where drivers will congregate and get ready for a poker run through some of the most beautiful roads in the lower Laurentians. It will lead them to ICAR where the Starlight children and their families await to witness the rare sight of a convoy of 150 exotic cars. It will be a day of joy for the children who will have the opportunity of a lifetime to ride on an enclosed and secure area on the track.

For the first time this year, the event is open to the general public, who can admire viewing these powerful luxury vehicles lapping the ICAR track. Tickets will go on sale in August for $20.00 at ICAR Mirabel. Starlight children and their families will not only enjoy dream rides in these amazing cars, but also festivities, including train rides, face painting, outdoor games, arts and crafts, music and irresistible treats from some of Montreal's finest food trucks. Once the co-pilot drive for Starlight children is completed, drivers will also be invited to treat themselves to a few solo laps.

"Four years ago I was asked to join a group of 50 automotive enthusiasts that helped seriously ill Starlight children. I found the experience so moving, I knew I had to become more involved," said Stewart Kahan, Chairman D4S Canada. "When you see first-hand the smiles on the face of these sick kids and the excitement and fun they are having, you know that you are making a unique impact and lifting others up simply by driving your car!"

Starlight welcomes an extensive group of sponsors in support of the 4th Annual D4S. These include: Presenting Sponsor Porsche Prestige; Tire Sponsor Pirelli; and VIP Tent Paddock area sponsor TD Bank Group.

The D4S event will culminate with a charity casino red carpet evening at 40 Westt Steakhouse, filled with surprises, where VIP guests will help to reach fundraising goals through their ticket purchases, an auction, and an enticing raffle to win a fabulous trip to the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix. Tickets for the party are now available at $250 per person. Expect the unexpected.

Supporters can still register as drivers or purchase tickets at

Last year's event raised over $400,000 and organizers hope to bring that figure to $650,000 in 2016. Watch a video from last year's event here:
