Starlight Children's Foundation Receives Donation From Wyndham Worldwide Foundation

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - September 23, 2010) -  Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), one of the world's largest hospitality companies, is giving back to the community through a donation to the Starlight Children's Foundation in conjunction with the Wyndham Hotel Group's first global conference.

A contribution of $100,000 was presented to Ron Leibow, the board chair for Starlight Children's Foundation, by chairman and chief executive officer of Wyndham Worldwide Stephen P. Holmes and president and chief executive officer of Wyndham Hotel Group Eric Danziger on behalf of the Wyndham Worldwide charitable foundation at the request of the company's Wishes by Wyndham philanthropic program.

"Children shape the future of our world," said Holmes. "With this in mind, our Wishes by Wyndham philanthropic program supports charities that focus on children. Starlight is a great organization and we are proud to assist them in helping improve the quality of life for seriously ill children around the world."

Wyndham Worldwide supports the Wyndham Worldwide charitable foundation, which assists and funds three signature charities: Starlight Children's Foundation, Christel House International and the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. All three focus their efforts on improving the lives of children in need.

Starlight Children's Foundation, which helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities, is Wyndham Hotel Group's signature charity.

"Wyndham Hotel Group is proud of the work that we do with Starlight," said Danziger. "We seek to help our guests make great memories through vacation and Starlight focuses on helping families make special memories together to lift their spirits. It is a great partnership."

Wyndham Worldwide is continually focused on philanthropy and improving the lives of others. In that spirit, now through November 30, Wyndham Worldwide will donate $1.00 each time a new fan "likes" the Wyndham Worldwide Facebook page, up to $60,000. The total amount raised will be equally divided between Wyndham Worldwide's three signature charities.
