COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwire - May 6, 2011) - Star Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro signed an exclusive endorsement and licensing agreement with Lutte Licensing Group, LLC, the maker and distributor of Core Synergy®, a patented decagon-shaped, titanium-infused, silicone wristband. Core Synergy is available in multiple colors and sizes at www.coresynergy.net and will be available nationwide in major retailers later this month.
Castro will be wearing the Core Synergy "Pink" band on Mother's Day (Sunday) as part of the "Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer" initiative by MLB. A portion of the Core Synergy proceeds will be donated to the Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Additionally, Lutte plans to partner with Castro to develop the Starlin Castro Signature Series, which will be available later this summer.
