Saturday, June 10, some of the world's top pro surfers along with film and rock stars will come out to compete against one another in the 2nd annual Surfrider Foundation Celebrity Surf Jam in SurfCity USA, Huntington Beach, California. The event is held to help raise awareness for the protection and preservation of our world's oceans and coastal environments.

Surfrider Foundation's Celebrity Surf Jam is once again being chaired by X-Games commentator, Sal Masekela. Joining Sal and competing for the best waves will be event co-chair Brandon Boyd and fellow Incubus members Mike Einziger and Ben Kenney, Oscar nominated actress Minnie Driver, star of the hit '70s television series "Courtship of Eddie's Father," Brandon Cruz, Porno For Pyros member Peter DiStefano, Switchfoot bassist Tim Foreman and fellow band member Chad Butler, "Baywatch" alumni and star of the upcoming show "Beyond The Break," David Chokachi.

The stars will be joined by a host of today's top surfing professionals, including event co-chair and co-star of the "Endless Summer II," Pat O'Connell, and Rob Machado, WCT surfers Taylor Knox and Damien Hobgood, and free surfing phenomena Tim Curran, Danny Fuller and Jeff Deffenbaugh and Pascal Stansfield. In a feature unique to Celebrity Surf Jam, the celebrities and pros will be paired with members of the public, in the form of Surfrider Foundation chapter activists from around the country. Together the group will compete in the National Surf League's exciting contest format "The Game."
