StarView Solutions Launches PRISM VoIP Management Product

Enabling Tool Reduces Provisioning and Management Time up to 75%

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - October 4, 2010) -   StarView Solutions, an industry leader of business-ready Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutions, today announced the launch of its patent pending Provisioning and Integrated Services Management tool (PRISM). This newest cutting-edge system allows for the instant ordering, activation, and routing of DID phone numbers as well as SIP connections which traditionally can take days to complete. In addition, the new tool manages just about all of the aspects of VoIP services.

"The core idea of PRISM is the standardization of provisioning and management of services across many diverse systems, simplified so that anyone can offer VoIP services to their retail or wholesale customers without having to deal with the complexities of running a telecommunications network," said Evin Hunt Vice President of Technology at StarView Solutions. PRISM not only handles the end-to-end services necessary to provision VoIP, it is platform agnostic and interfaces with most of the major soft-switching platforms on the market today. This standardized web-based tool provides backend software and user interface to manage residential VoIP services, business PBX functionality, SIP trunking, inventory and reporting, rate deck generation, and tiered reseller branding and management. It allows for the provisioning of VoIP handsets, DID ordering and routing, as well as E911 service management.

StarView recently launched istarsip 3.0, the first native SIP/VoIP prepaid application in the Apple Store. This latest innovative phone application adds a second number to any iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that works over 3G, WiFi or cellular networks. In addition to the core functionality of PRISM, the system also manages the new istarsip application.

There are several long-term goals and enhancements planned for PRISM to integrate with more systems and applications which include white label billing, rating, and least cost routing. StarView will be exhibiting and demoing PRISM at the CVx Expo, collocated with ITExpo at the Los Angeles Convention Center, October 4-6, 2010.
