Stash, Inc. Announces the Launch of Its Groundbreaking Social Event App at DEMO Mobile 2013

NYC-Based Mobile Startup to Showcase Its App in the Social Mobile Showcase on the DEMO Mobile 2013 Stage

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 17, 2013) - Stash, Inc. today announced the launch of its mobile application of the same name at DEMO Mobile 2013, a launch event exclusively concentrated on the best new mobile technologies based on design, innovation and market potential.

Stash (the app) is available in Apple's App Store and allows its users to effortlessly discover the most interesting things to do around them. The app then organizes events for its users and eliminates the chaos of constantly finding things to do. Stash serves as a reminder for inbox-based events by providing a Tripit-style content shifting system. Events are stored as 'Stash Cards' which are shared by users in a friction free manner. Shared cards allow for social collaboration between users that follow each other.

"We're extremely excited to launch on the DEMO Stage. In a year, our users won't be able to imagine how they lived without Stash and it all starts today at DEMO Mobile," said Brad Galle, Stash CEO. "We have focused all of our efforts on providing a new means for management and discovery of the very best and most intriguing happenings in a city."

Stash will provide a four minute demonstration of the Stash application on the DEMO Mobile Stage at 4:00pm PDT and will host live demonstrations throughout the day at booth D5 in the DEMO Mobile 2013 Pavilion.

"Everyone is inundated with opportunities to attend concerts, sports, movies, meetups, and other events, yet when the time comes, we spend an eternity figuring out what to do. Stash takes the stress out of making plans and makes its users in-the-know about events around them," said Erick Schonfeld, executive producer of DEMO Mobile.

Stash, Inc. is the innovator in the online social event discovery. Its Stash App (launched spring 2013) improves users' lives by making event management and discovery effortless within its beautiful mobile interface while enabling Trip-It like content shifting. Stash's proprietary technology uses Natural Language Processing to create content from both its users and automated sources. The company was founded in 2012 in New York City and is angel funded.
