Interactive Publishing (PLUS: ITNP), the PLUS-quoted consumer publishing company, is pleased to
announce that despite recent challenges in the publishing sector, one of its staple consumer
titles, Women's Fitness magazine has shown a marked increase in newsstand sales and subscription
sales.

Newsstand sales have increased by 43%, with monthly average UK newsstand sales rising from 15,385
to 22,051 in the first quarter of 2009. Subscription sales have risen by 94% in the same period.

In addition, the ratio of actively purchased copies has increased from 67% in October 2008 to 85%
in February 2009. Spring issues of the magazine are on course to achieve final sales of 37,200 per
issue (including bulk, subscription and export copies) - up from a sale of 18,509 copies in
February 2008.

Interactive Publishing Chief Executive Justin Sanders said today:

"The increase in sales of this magazine confirms Interactive Publishing's success in purchasing
niche consumer titles and giving them the editorial and marketing support to enable them to
respond to consumer demand accurately and effectively, and therefore grow substantially as a title
and brand."
