Stay-Linked Announces Signed Letter of Intent to OEM Odyssey Software's Athena Device Management Suite

Plans to Offer Seamlessly Integrated Device Management Extensions to Award-Winning Thin-Client Terminal Emulation and Session Management Solution

TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwire - August 21, 2007) - Stay-Linked Corporation, the leader in host-based, thin-client wireless terminal emulation and session management, today announced that a Letter of Intent was signed with Odyssey Software to OEM key components of the Athena Device Management Suite for certain license rights.

Stay-Linked Corporation is in the process of developing a specialized set of device management functionality enabled by the Athena software that they plan to offer as a seamless extension to the unique Advanced Terminal Session Management capabilities of the Stay-Linked solution.

"This is a natural progression from the successful joint technology alliance we already have with Odyssey Software," stated David Griffith, president of Stay-Linked Corporation. "Customers of all sizes who appreciate and rely on the quality of our support and the benefits of Stay-Linked's design have asked us to extend our reach into device management functionality so they can enjoy a single vendor software solution from us for their mission critical wireless terminal host applications."

Stay-Linked provides centralized, secure, high-performance access to 5250/3270, VT100/220 and SSHv2 host-based screen applications, with support for a wide range of wireless terminal devices that includes Symbol/Motorola, Intermec, LXE, Psion-Teklogix, Avery Dennison, PSC, HHP, AML and others. Due to its thin-client design, Stay-Linked is also an ideal solution for providing real-time access to host applications for mobile workers outside the four walls utilizing wide-area or cellular broadband internet connectivity.

Commented Tom Robinson, Odyssey Software's executive vice president, sales and marketing: "Combining Stay-Linked and Athena as a tested solution stack with point integration between the two products has been a success for well over a year now, and has provided us with a solid basis for forging a deeper technology partnership. Incorporating Athena functionality directly within the Stay-Linked solution to provide device management alongside its terminal session management within the same help desk console interface and communicating across a common architecture promises to be a very compelling and cost-effective value proposition for end-users and resellers alike."
