StealthGas to Offer Additional Shares of Common Stock

ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - July 9, 2007) - STEALTHGAS INC. (NASDAQ: GASS) announced today that it has filed a preliminary prospectus supplement with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with its previously filed registration statement on Form F-3. The preliminary prospectus supplement covers 6,000,000 shares of common stock to be issued and sold by the Company. The Company also will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 shares for over-allotment purposes.

The offering will be book-run by Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Cantor Fitzgerald & Co.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used to pay the remaining balance of the purchase price for five LPG carriers which the Company had previously agreed to acquire, repay outstanding indebtedness incurred to acquire certain vessels in the Company's current fleet, and for general corporate purposes.
