WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 6, 2012) - Steelcraft, a leading provider of custom-engineered steel products, components and systems announced today that it has appointed David Sutherland to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Mr. Sutherland brings to Steelcraft's Board extensive business leadership, governance, and steel manufacturing industry experience. David Sutherland enjoyed a 30+ year career with integrated North American steel plate manufacturer IPSCO, the latter five spent as the company's president and chief executive officer. As IPSCO CEO, he increased company revenue from $1.1 billion to $3.8 billion, and successfully negotiated sale of IPSCO to Swedish steel company SSAB in 2007.
