COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwired - March 11, 2016) - STEINER INNOVATIONS, LLC announced today that it is launching the Sweet Baby Shade, a portable, impact-resistant shade that can be easily attached to a stroller or car seat to protect an infant's skin and eyes from the damaging rays of the sun.
Protecting infants from the harmful effects of the sun is especially important because their skin possesses little melanin. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, 90 percent of all skin cancers are caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays, and sustaining five or more sunburns in youth can increase lifetime melanoma risk by 80 percent.
