Stellar Pacific Ventures Drills 6 Metres of 14.29 Gr Au/t on B-3 Zone of Solotomo Discovery, Guinea

Stellar Reports Continued Positive Oxide Results Atbalandougou, Solotomo Discovery In Guinea

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2011) - Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") - Maurice Giroux, P.Geo., President and CEO of Stellar Pacific is pleased to release first assay results of the 2011 drill program completed on Zone B3 and B1 in November 2011.

So far, the company has received and compiled the assay results of six (6) holes out of 27 seven holes drilled on Zone B3. The company is pleased with a substantial 6 metres of 14.29 gr Au/t drilled in hole B3-11-05. The hole B3-11-04 for its part, has intercepted 28 metres of 2.03gr Au/t. Those two holes confirm high grades and substantial width potential of the B3 gold structure delineated by drilling over a 1,050 metres strike so far.

The following table lists the most significant drill intersection compiled so far:

SOLOTOMO ZONE B-3, 2011 DRILL PROGRAM, MOST SIGNIFICANT MINERALIZED DRILL INTERSECTIONS

Hole # FROM TO INTERSECTION
(m) (m) (gr Au/t/m)
B3-11-02 39 45 2.65 gr Au/t/6m
B3-11-04 11 39 2.03gr Au/t/28m
incl 17 21 5.84 gr Au/t/4m
B3-11-05 29 35 14.29 gr Au/t/6m
B3-11-08 23 25 1.07 gr Au/t/2m
B3-11-11 51 53 12.3 gr Au/t/2m
89 99 1.75 gr Au/t/10m
B3-11-13 0 19 3.98 gr Au/t/18m
Incl 3 5 15.6 gr Au/t/2m
incl 11 15 6.81 gr Au/t/4m

Maurice Giroux, P.Geo., President and CEO quotes "we are very pleased with the Zone B3 so far. The gold mineralization in that zone is consistent over a strike length of 1,050 metres and shows high grade components combined to considerable width of up to 35 metres as reported in the hole B3-26. The zone B3 is still open in all directions and consists in one limb out of the 3 different gold structures identified and referred to as «SOLOTOMO Discovery».

The 3 structures drilled so far are known as the Solotomo Pit, B1 and B3 and cumulate more then 1,800 linear metres of oxide gold mineralization. The company is planning core drilling on the three structures in the course of the next four months. According to oxide zone indication, core drilling should lead to substantial resource calculation on those 3 zones."

2011 RC Drill Program:

The Company have just completed 3,000 metres of infill drilling on B3 and B1 zone. 27 holes were drilled on zone B3 and 15 holes on zone B1. Still, most assay results are pending and will be announce when they come available.

2011 Trenching Program

The Company have done 11 trenches totalling 1,400 linear metres. The trenches were dug to a depth of 4 metres across B1 and B3 zones and across the southern extension of the Solotomo pit zone. All trenches were channel sampled on their full length and mapped in order to note all geological and structural features observed on the 3 zones. Still, most assay results are pending and will be announce when they come available.

Airborne Magnetic/Radiometric Survey:

Stellar has also completed the field part of an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey over the entire 600 km2 of the Balandougou Concession. The survey was conducted by Xcalibur Airborne Geophysics of Pretoria, South Africa. The survey comprises approximately 5,691 line kilometres of flight lines oriented north-south at 100-metre spacing.

This survey, combined with the company's current knowledge of the economic geology of the area, will bring valuable information and will help in the planning of subsequent work phase.
