Stellar Panel of Judges Announced for Inaugural U.K. Candidate Experience Awards

Leading HR Experts to Determine Companies That Provide the Best Candidate Experience

LONDON--(Marketwire - Jan 9, 2013) - The Candidate Experience Awards, a non-profit organisation focused on facilitating the evolution of the employment candidate experience, today announced the judges of the first-ever U.K. Candidate Experience Awards (known as "The CandEs"). The judges will determine which participating companies will be awarded "With Distinction" designations, showcasing those that demonstrate exemplary candidate experience processes and practices. The judges include: Bill Boorman, founder of #Tru Events; Gerry Crispin, principal and co-founder of CareerXroads; and Keith Robinson, founder and director of ECOM Digital.

The CandEs recognise those companies that set a high standard for how they engage and treat candidates. Following the success of the 2011 North American Candidate Experience Awards, the inaugural U.K. programme is open to organisations that recruit in the British employment market. The programme consists of three survey rounds, designed to recognise organisations that produce outstanding candidate experiences.

Companies that meet criteria for the first and second rounds will be awarded a "CandE Award Winner" designation stamp. All participating organisations receive a benchmark report allowing them to see how their candidate experience measures against the aggregate of all other companies in the CandEs. U.K.-based "With Distinction" honourees will be celebrated, along with all CandE winners, at a special ceremony to be held at The Brewery in London on February 26, 2013.

"As we hold the inaugural U.K. Candidate Experience Awards, it is crucial that we have a panel of judges that fully understands the realm of recruiting and the way in which candidates find and apply to jobs," said Talent Board member and partner at Talent Collective, Jeremy Tipper. "Our judges bring together a wealth of experience in all aspects of human resources, as they have each influenced numerous organisations to improve their processes and strategies. We are confident that our CandEs judges will identify true innovation and best practices to help participating organisations better understand and improve the candidate experience they provide to their job seekers."
