WALLACE, IDAHO--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2007) - Sterling Mining Company (OTCBB:SRLM)(FRANKFURT:SMX) is proud to participate in the 2007 Silver Summit, the world's premier silver investment conference, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho September 20 and 21 and Wallace, Idaho 22 and 23. This annual conference brings together industry professionals, analysts and investors providing in-depth analysis of the silver market and the ever-expanding uses of silver.

Sterling Mining Company has been a co-sponsor of this event since it began in 2003 and will speak at this year's summit on Friday September 21 at 4:15.
