Sterling Moves From Bulletin Board

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2011) - Sterling Group Ventures, Inc. (OTCBB:SGGV)(FRANKFURT:GD7) (the "Company") advises that it has moved from the OTCBB to the new three tier system recently mandated by FINRA. This is further explained by the article http://blog.redchip.com/index.php/stocks/otcbb-delistings-and-rule-15c2-11-what-happened.

The move which has resulted in the Company's symbol being appended by a PK in no way reflects on the Company's filing status with the SEC. The Company believes, to the best of its knowledge and belief, that it is up to date on all financial disclosure filings. The new system has three tiers under which the Company now is quoted in the middle tier OTCQB.

The Company is one of a large number of companies that have been moved to the new three tier system under Rule 15c-2-11. The Company is currently exploring a method to return to the full Bulletin Board
