Stibo Catalog Wins 18 New Customers in FY 2004 and Announces Double Digit Revenue Growth

AARHUS, Denmark--(CCNMatthews - Jul 18, 2005) -

Stibo Catalog, the leading provider of product content management solutions for multi-channel publishing, today reported record sales for its fiscal year 2004 (ending April 30, 2005). In this period Stibo Catalog won 18 new customers in manufacturing, distribution/wholesale, and retail markets, in six countries across three continents. As a result, the company has achieved double digit revenue growth and is projecting similar growth for its fiscal year 2005.

Stibo Catalog has been providing world-class software and service solutions to catalog centric businesses for more than 25 years. Its robust STEP product information management solution provides enterprises with a media-neutral repository to manage product marketing content for electronic and print publishing. Businesses with a clear content strategy benefit from improved content management, as well as a reduction in the time-to-market for their multi-channel promotions.

Companies across a range of vertical markets, including HC Slingsby plc, a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of industrial and commercial equipment have chosen Stibo Catalog's STEP solution for its product content management capabilities.

Slingsby publishes a catalog containing more than 30,000 SKUs twice per year, frequently mails brochures and mini-catalogs to its customers, and will use STEP to manage its online catalog.

Lee Wright, Marketing Director at HC Slingsby said: "STEP came out on top because it offered the most powerful product information management features, the most flexible publishing tools and also because we could see significant benefits in the page layout and briefing process. The inherent scalability of STEP, and its ability to easily integrate with our other IT systems, were also key factors in our decision."

Harry Brandicourt, Director of Global eBusiness at Kennametal (NYSE: KMT), the world's premier supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes, commented: "We completed a rigorous and in-depth evaluation of more than 10 vendors of cross-media publication solutions. We chose Stibo because they are an established provider in the space, offering leading-edge solution capabilities, excellent development vision, and the ability to execute and deliver now and going forward. Now, in the midst of implementation, Stibo has proven to be a reliable and steadfast partner, dedicated to the success of our initiative."

Dan Korsgaard, CEO of Stibo Catalog remarked: "We are delighted to have won the business of so many new customers. It is my belief that our success is directly linked to our ability to enable our customers to become more competitive by offering the best support and solutions for their business challenges. Winning a customer's business is just the first step in building a long-lasting relationship.

"To support our growth, we are investing in additional development and support resources to create further product modules and enhance STEP to meet the needs of our customers."

In a recent AMR Research Alert (January 2005) Jim Murphy, Senior Analyst at AMR stated: "Stibo Catalog has a sustainable business, it provides valuable services for customers and it found a space that IBM and SAP are unlikely to support."

For businesses that are improving their business processes by pursuing a content strategy, STEP lets them aggregate raw product information from disparate sources in a central data repository, enrich and manage the product content, and deliver consistent marketing content smoothly through multiple channels - including electronic and print media.

STEP includes a true multi-channel publishing engine, and gives users the flexibility to decide how to market consistent messages through the communication channel of choice. The solution supports delivery of e-catalogs, web content, CD-ROM, as well as printed promotions ranging from flyers to brochures and catalogs.

Its unique language management capabilities makes STEP an optimal solution for manufacturers, distributors and retailers who operate on global scale.
