Stipple Introduces Pipeline, the First Online Image Monetization System for Brands

Turns Ordinary Images Into Ecommerce Storefronts

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 3, 2011) - Stipple, a San Francisco-based technology company, today introduced Stipple Pipeline, the first image commerce system designed specifically for brands. Pipeline is a web-based application that enables brands to accurately promote and sell their products that appear in editorial photos. Brands can turn any editorial image containing their products into e-commerce storefronts.

Additionally, shoppers are able to bookmark and save specific products within an image to their 'want list' using Stipple Want, also announced today.

Stipple Pipeline enables brands to locate and promote their products in editorial images. Pipeline contains a real-time feed of the web's most interesting and engaging editorial images. Pipeline receives more than 100,000 editorial images per month from top photo agencies, including Abaca USA, Admedia, Buzz Foto, PictureGroup, Sipa, Starmax, Startraks and Zuma, among others. The product allows brands to promote and sell products in images from major red carpets to street style, music, news and sports events.

More than 50 brands have already signed up to use Pipeline including iconic brands such as AAFA's Brand of the Year William Rast along with Vivitar, Local Celebrity, Silly Bandz, Hazel, Jaloux, Domino and Teruo Artistry. Los Angeles-based American Rebel Public Relations is presently using Pipeline for their brand clients including Swag Like Us, Signorelli, Iron Fist and Radii.

Stipple Pipeline is part of the Stipple product ecosystem announced today that also includes Lens, Network and Want. Lens creates new revenue streams for photo agencies from their editorial images.
