STL Marketing Group (STLK) Completes the Second Year of the Precepts for Living Project for Urban Ministries, Inc.

Project Creates Almost $ 200,000 in Revenues for STL

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - October 12, 2009) - STL Marketing Group (PINKSHEETS: STLK) is pleased to announce the completion of the second year of Precepts for Living® (Precepts) project with Urban Ministries, Inc. Precepts for Living is the annual Sunday School commentary targeting African American and urban churches for UMI. This is the second year of double-digit growth for the Precepts brand and underscores that the African American market remains a strong area of growth for Christian publishers.

At the close of UMI's fiscal year in September 2009, Jennifer McIntyre, VP of Operations for UMI admits, "Although we knew this would be a good year for Precepts, the 18% growth rate over last year exceed our optimistic forecast."

One of the most important relationships a publisher has is with its printer and UMI has forged a partnership with STL Graphics that has helped them realize greater profitability. STL Graphics provided the convenience of one stop shopping at competitive rates. On Precepts alone, STL Graphic's services included printing of the commentary, the box in which UMI packages the CD version of Precepts, and the black binder with gold leaf embossing which is the trademark for the Pastor's Precepts.

The strength of UMI's commentary is being able to marry good theological content with real-life application for people of African descent worldwide. According to Dr. Cheryl Price-Clemetson, VP of Editorial, "Our writing staff is as diverse as our readership -- both of which represent many countries and many denominational groups."

UMI has also entered into a few partnerships that make this product really special for its readers. For the third consecutive year, Precepts offers a dual translation -- combining the preaching and scripture memorization power of the King James Version (KJV) with the easy to read and understand quality of Tyndale's New Living Translation (NLT). A second partnership with Wordsearch® combines the computing power of Bible Explorer© with a digital Precepts Library.

CEO Steve St. Louis said, "We are thrilled to be a part of such an amazing project with UMI. It's a true win-win-win in business when we can help a company improve the quality of their products and service while saving them money and helping to promote something positive in the community. We look forward to continuing a long and mutually beneficial partnership with UMI."
