Store Closures Within Ontario No Impact on CAA North & East Ontario or its Members

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 19, 2011) - In light of recent changes that have been announced by CAA South Central Ontario (CAASCO) CAA North & East Ontario (CAANEO) would like to reassure our Members that our service remains uncompromised.

Among the recent changes implemented by CAASCO was the decision to close the Mississauga North Travel Store, as well as the travel agency within the Sault Ste. Marie Travel Store. These store closures do not impact CAANEO or its Members and do not reflect the business decisions of CAANEO.

CAANEO is an independent and autonomous member of the Canadian Automobile Association.

"We remain committed to offering our Members unparalleled concierge service for travel agency, roadside assistance, and insurance services in Northern and Eastern Ontario," said Christian Hlusko, Vice president Operations for CAANEO.

Members can visit caaneo.ca for detailed information on services offered by the Club or they can visit one of the seven Travel Stores operated by CAANEO throughout the North & East Ontario region.

For more than 100 years, the Canadian Automobile Association has provided travel, emergency road services, insurance, and advocacy for its Members. CAA North & East Ontario continues to be the leading membership organization by recognizing and promoting its heritage and integrity in the community, while maximizing Members' value.
