Strait Files Restated Year-End Financial Statements


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 28, 2014) - Strait Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SRD) has refiled the Company's audited Consolidated Financial Statements and notes for the years ended December 31, 2013 and 2012, and the related Management Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition ("MD&A") to reflect the correction of an error in the Consolidated Financial Statements and MD&A filed on April 24, 2014.

The Independent Auditor's Report dated April 24, 2014 has been withdrawn and replaced by a report dated May 26, 2014.

The effect of the error is more fully disclosed in Note 17 to the refiled Consolidated Financial Statements.
