Strategic Announces Correction of Date of Independent Auditors Report

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 12, 2011) - Strategic Oil & Gas Ltd. ("Strategic" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SOG) announced today that it has re-filed on SEDAR its consolidated annual financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2010 (the "Financial Statements"), as well as its Business Acquisition Report dated April 20, 2011 in order to correct the date of the independent auditors report which had been incorrectly dated March 30, 2010 and has been revised to March 30, 2011.
