Strategic Mining Corp (SMNG) Moves to OTC Bulletin Board From Pink Sheets

NEW YORK, NEW YORK--(Marketwire - Feb. 15, 2011) - Strategic Mining Corporation (OTCBB:SMNG), a gold mining company focused on production in Vietnam, announced today that its common stock has begun trading on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). Previously, Strategic Mining's common stock was quoted on the Pink Sheets.

"We are proud of our accomplishment in uplisting to the OTC Bulletin Board," said Strategic Mining President Todd Sterck. "Our principal objective as a company is to create value and generate long-term earnings for our shareholders. This move will increase the transparency of our operations, raise our profile among potential new shareholders and strengthen our ability to secure financing for future endeavours."

Strategic Mining's current focus is on its Nat Son gold property, which is located in a gold-producing region of northern Vietnam. Geological reports on the property have identified mineralized ore veins containing economical gold and silver resources. Assay results of samples collected at the site indicate gold values as high as 47.3 g/t.

Strategic Mining is slated to commence a deep-well drill program at the property in late February, 2011.
