Strategies to Maintain a Successful Payment Card Program Revealed in Free Webcast From Alliance Financial Services and NAFCU Services

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - March 3, 2010) -  NAFCU Services Corporation and Alliance Financial Services the NAFCU Services Preferred Partner for payment industry advisory services, announced today the release of a free webcast that gives an overview of how market evaluations are improving credit union card programs today. The two organizations plan to discuss the topic in more depth at NAFCU's Strategic Growth Conference in March.

The webcast is available online at www.nafcu.org/alliance.

"Many credit unions have been able to achieve significant processing cost reductions for their credit and debit card programs by reviewing some alternative management and processing structures," explains Michael Cebrick, managing director, Alliance Financial Services. "Market evaluations can also help credit unions create significant upside with enhanced technologies, product offerings and profitability."

Viewers get an inside look at industry trends and how credit unions "stack up," learn why payment cards are important to credit unions, and develop an understanding of how to create a successful payment card program. In addition, Jim Craig, vice president of marketing for 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union, shares his first-hand experiences and the strategies that helped improve the card program at his credit union.

"The landscape for credit card operations in credit unions is ever-changing, especially today," said David Frankil, president of NAFCU Services Corporation. "With the perspectives of both an industry expert like Michael Cebrick and the first-hand experience shared by Jim Craig, we hope to give credit unions a fresh look at how to improve their card program strategies, even in these challenging times."
