Stratos and Proteus Biomedical to Share Insights on Consumer-Driven Health Technology at the Frost & Sullivan Medical Devices Executive MindXchange

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Mar 7, 2012) - Stratos Product Development, LLC today announced its President, Sean MacLeod, will lead a presentation for executives on the convergence of health and technology at the Frost & Sullivan 17th Annual Medical Devices MindXchange in San Diego, California on March 12. MacLeod will present with David O'Reilly, Chief Product Officer at Proteus Biomedical, a Stratos client.

In a presentation titled "Embracing the Paradigm Shift in Point-of-Care: The Convergence of Health and Technology in a Consumer-Driven Marketplace," MacLeod and O'Reilly will discuss how current trends in healthcare are accelerating the drive to adapt medical technologies to non-traditional settings.

"The point at which care is provided is shifting given current healthcare trends. Future best-in-class medical care will include much more than the traditional in-person interaction with one's physician. As this shift progresses and the convergence of traditional medical and consumer technology accelerates, new ways of delivering care will emerge. Successful companies will adopt new business models and strategically partner to innovate, create compelling products and services and deploy these solutions to customer-driven markets," Sean MacLeod, President, Stratos Product Development said.

At the Frost and Sullivan Medical Devices MindXchange, Stratos will also participate in networking events and in the exhibition. For more information and to register for the conference, visit
