Streetlight Intelligence Announces Product Sales to Qualite Sports Lighting

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 12, 2006) - Streetlight Intelligence Inc. (STI) (TSX VENTURE:SLQ) today announced receipt of the first order of its Lumen IQ technology from Qualite Sports Lighting, Inc. ("Qualite"). The order, worth more than $250,000 CDN, will provide Qualite with Lumen IQTM units required for planned initial installations of STI's innovative energy savings technology in facilities operated by Qualite customers this fall. There are an estimated 750,000 sports, recreational and athletic facilities in North America.

The purchase order follows a memorandum of understanding that STI and Qualite executed in March, 2006. This agreement called for the integration of STI's Lumen IQ™ lighting control system with Qualite's sports lighting products. The Qualite Lumen IQ™ sports lighting fixture offers sports facility operators not only the benefit of energy savings but the unique guarantee that its light output is sufficient to meet the standards recommended by the Illumination Engineering Society of North America ("IESNA").

The Lumen IQ technology allows Qualite's customers to remotely program their lighting systems so that the playing surface is lit to the IESNA recommended levels for particular activities. Traditionally, these sporting facilities are fully lit for all activities, whether they be practices, half times or even non-sporting events. Controlling these lights to the appropriate IESNA approved light level can reduce energy consumption by up to 40 percent. In addition to energy savings, the Lumen IQ control system delivers significant operational savings and environmental benefits, including substantial reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

"Qualite's superior reflector efficiency combined with STI's controls will maintain the recommended design level for uniform light on the playing field while significantly reducing owners' operating costs"," said Michael Egan, President of Qualite Sports Lighting. "The added benefit of reducing unnecessary spill light and sky glow is very compelling for our clients who want this new system now."

"Qualite continues to take a strong leadership position in sports lighting through their consistent innovative approach to technology advancements. Both companies hold similar values in terms of design, testing and working to ensure industry and IESNA standards are met" said Don Cleland, President and CEO of STI. "This initial order underscores the combined effort of Qualite and STI to deliver a solution that the sports lighting industry has been waiting for."
