Streetlight Intelligence Inc.: Intelligent Street
Lights Coming to Alberta

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 11, 2005) - Streetlight
Intelligence Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SLQ) ("STI") announced today that is has
entered into a pilot project with a major distribution utility in
Alberta to demonstrate its energy and maintenance saving technology for
street lights.

The pilot project, which is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2005,
will see STI's Lumen IQ™ product installed in some of the 150,000
street lights the distribution utility operates. The pilot project will
evaluate both the energy and maintenance savings delivered by STI's
innovative technology.

"There really is no other technology quite like STI's Lumen IQ™" said
Jim Floyd, President of Caltech Design Inc., the Calgary consulting firm
that is project managing the pilot. "STI's combination of significant
energy and maintenance cost reductions and dramatically improved
customer service in one technology solution is long overdue."

"Street lights account for between 22-30% of the average municipal
electric bill and the annual costs of maintaining street lights are even
greater," said Don Cleland, President and CEO of Streetlight
Intelligence Inc. "Reducing these costs with a technology that pays for
itself in a few short years makes sense for utilities and its customers."

Streetlight Intelligence Inc. is a public company listed on the TSX
Venture Exchange (trading symbol: V.SLQ). STI designs, manufactures and
markets products for the street light industry. The company has the
global rights to a patented "anti-cycling" technology that reduces the
maintenance costs of street lights. The Lumen IQ™ also allows street
lights to be remotely turned on/off or dimmed at specified times, which
results in significant energy savings, reductions in greenhouse gas
emissions and light pollution and substantial maintenance cost savings.
