Strong Existing Home Sales Will Continue in Hamilton and Brantford Through the First Half of 2014

In the new home markets, residential construction should rebound in 2014 as lower inventories will support higher level of housing starts.

"The steady population increase from net migration has generated more households, which bodes well for the housing markets in both Hamilton and Brantford," said Abdul Kargbo, CMHC Senior Market Analyst for the Hamilton and Brantford CMAs.
