The Canadian furniture retailer Structube has released a revolutionary new web series designed to break down some of the taboos associated with manufacturing in Asia. For so many, the "made in China" or "made in India" label has a negative connotation. Structube challenges this taboo by showing the viewer the proud tradespeople behind some of their products.

Directed by filmmaker Julien Knafo, the cinematic series "Beyond the product", endeavours to communicate the relationship between the products, the place in which they are manufactured and the people that create them. The video series takes the viewer behind the scenes on a buying trip from Jodhpur India, to China (Dongguan and Hangzhou) to explore the sights, sounds and tastes of some of the oldest cultures on earth.

With a new episode coming every week, "Beyond the product" demonstrates what can happen when a business embraces the culture in which they produce their goods. The result is truly magical.
