The Structure Group® Founder David Hallam Passes on Reins to Internal Management Group as Company Exceeds All Growth Targets in Strategic Business Plan

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 12, 2006 --The Structure Group® has announced that company founder David Hallam will resign his post as a principal and move back to his native England with his wife and three children. Hallam will remain an advisor to Structure's United States and European operations.

"Watching our children grow over the years, my wife and I decided that when the time was right, we would return to England and introduce our children to their family and heritage," Hallam said. "We feel that the time has now come. The Structure Group continues to achieve its strategic goals of satisfying our customers, empowering our employees and extending our capabilities in both software and services. This is proof that the partnership management organization we put in place a few years ago is a tremendous success. In my opinion, this is the finest management team in the energy consulting and software space, and I have complete confidence that I am leaving the company in capable hands."

In 2002, The Structure Group reformulated its operating charter to create a true partnership organization in which specific consulting and software practices are headed by principals (partners). Since that time, the company has grown to more than 180 employees and has experienced average annual revenue growth of 15 to 20 percent.

"David has been a friend, mentor and inspirational leader to all of us at The Structure Group," managing principal Michael Peterson said. "Although we will all miss his personality, wisdom and outstanding contribution to our company, we wish David and his family all the best in their relocation to England. We will continue to enjoy David's counsel in both the US and in Europe as we continue to build The Structure Group's leadership position in the industry."
