StubPass's Featured Event of the Week: Spiderman Musical Tickets

NEWARK, DE--(Marketwire - August 30, 2010) -  StubPass, a premier provider of guaranteed and hard-to-find event tickets, is excited to feature Spiderman musical tickets.

Believe it or not, Spiderman is finally coming to Broadway. With this recent announcement of "Turn off The Dark," Spiderman Broadway tickets are already in extreme high demand, with the opening night being set for November 14, 2010 at the Foxwoods Theater (tickets). To add even more interest to the musical, Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark music and lyrics are written by Bono and The Edge of U2 (tickets). Collaborating with Bono and The Edge is Julie Taymor of The Lion King (tickets) fame.

For fans and critics alike, it is amazing to see Bono and The Edge putting so much of themselves into the Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark musical, while equally investing their collective creative energy into the U2 360 tour.

Jeff Davis, Marketing and Press Director of StubPass, is not surprised. "U2 -- specifically Bono and The Edge -- continually deliver to fans. Their reputation, whether individually or through music with U2, is known for their cutting-edge stage shows, meaningful lyrics and fan-based draw."

In other theater news, the successful and long-time Broadway show Wicked is still going strong. Based off of the Wizard of Oz -- celebrating its 71st anniversary this month -- Wicked tickets continue to sell out shows on Broadway and for the traveling troupe (with featured shows in Columbus, Minneapolis, Boston and Madison). Regardless of the destination, seeing Wicked live is an experience for young and old.

For even more old-school fans, Grease is the word. Now featuring Taylor Hicks (from American Idol fame), the musical version of Grease not only brings back the nostalgia of the 1979 award-nominated movie but also introduces a new generation to the production. While the production has been a mainstay on Broadway since 1994, Grease tickets actually began selling in 1971 (under the name "Grease Lightning"), but saw its revival after the movie-musical in 1978.
