Students Pitch Ideas to Business Leaders

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 25, 2016) - The Jr. Economic Club of Canada (Jr. EC) will celebrate its fourth annual "Bay Street Boot Camp," a five-day financial literacy course that brings high school students into the heart of the financial district in Toronto. Camp attendees hail from across the GTA, Wikwemikong First Nation, and Iqaluit. Special guests The Hon. Mitzie Hunter and Blue Jay Kevin Pillar will kick off the competition with special addresses.

WHAT: Students pitch their businesses plan to a panel of judges a.k.a. "Mega Minds" in a "Dragons' Den" format. The Mega Minds will select winners of the 2016 Bay Street Boot Camp Entrepreneurial Challenge. $15,000 in academic scholarships are up for grabs.
