Students Speak Out Before Premiers' Conference

Canada's National Student Organisation Outlines Expectations for Meeting Attention: Assignment Editor, Education Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 9, 2005) - In the lead-up to the Council of the Federation meeting in Banff later this week, the Canadian Federation of Students will issue a public statement. For the first time in several years, federal funding for post-secondary education is expected to be a priority discussion item for a Premiers' meeting. A Federation spokesperson will outline students' expectations and proposals for improving access to Canada's universities and colleges.
