LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - This ghoulish season, legendary nightclub Studio 54 inside of MGM Grand presents its 10th annual Halloween celebration: Nightmare on 54th Street. Beginning Friday, October 26 through Wednesday, October 31, Studio 54 will host the spookiest Halloween soirees on The Strip as the illustrious nightclub transforms into a frightful playground complete with scintillating devils and seductive angels.

From spine-chilling costume contests and cash prizes totaling nearly $10,000 to eerie special live performances and acts, Studio 54 will be the place to party for the scariest time of year. With a four-day celebration and more treats than tricks, guests are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best as the winner for sexiest, best group, best drag and best overall will walk away with cold hard cash.

The Halloween line-up includes the following:

Friday, October 26: The sexy spider girls will entertain the masses as they spin, swoop and swing on the aerial webs and ghost bungees to kick-off the sinful weekend. Hair will rise as the bewitching temptress and her slithering serpent seduce the crowd. Throughout the evening, sexy dancers and performers will recreate scenes from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and a new erotic production "Xtremity" will take the stage. DJ Dynamixx will keep the music pumping as he spins the nightmare away into the early morning hours.

Saturday, October 27: Adding to the Halloween madness, the second night welcomes the first of three costume contests under 54's crescent moon for most erotic and original costumes.

Tuesday, October 30: The Nightmare on 54th Street continues with influence, the best mid-week rendezvous, with special guest performances by rap-sensation Paul Wall and hip-hop talent Collie Buddz. Wall and Buddz will take over the infamous stage to bring out the thrilling spirits in everyone as Studio 54 presents its second contest for costume-clad club goers.

Wednesday, October 31: 41st Annual Beaux Arts Ball: Studio 54 delivers the most extravagant Halloween gala on The Strip: the 41st Annual Beaux Arts Ball. Performers from Studio 54 and entertainers from numerous Vegas shows will come together to host an evening of fun and philanthropy to benefit Golden Rainbow, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting those living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. A costume-contest extraordinaire, guests to the Beaux Arts Ball will be rewarded with cash prizes for their elaborate Halloween creations in the following categories: best group (three or more), best drag, sexiest and best overall. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.


Studio 54 inside MGM Grand is a high-energy nightclub comprised of two levels, four bars, one main dance floor, movable go-go cages and an exclusive VIP lounge. The venue is covered with notable memorabilia including celebrity/VIP photographs from the original Studio 54 in New York City, and the infamous "original Studio 54 Moon" hanging over the dance floor. Studio 54 hosts influence, an unforgettable midweek rendezvous every Tuesday for the restaurant and nightclub industries.
