Dubbed Mr. Sub because he's a substitute player and because he eats a MR.SUB sandwich every day when he's in town, the relationship between the two sub giants is a natural fit.

The 'Challenge'

As of the challenge date, March 9th, there were 43 days left of regular basketball season. Of those, Matt's in town for 28 days.

Staying true to his daily Toronto routine, Matt will dine on MR.SUB each of the 28 days, feasting on his fave sub sandwich, as well as freshly baked cookies. While Matt is most often found dining at the MR.SUB at Union Station, fans will find him indulging his appetite at various MR.SUB locations over the next few months.

On behalf of Matt, MR.SUB will donate $4,000.00 to the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Clubs at the end of April.
