After several years of detailed planning, the Canadian owned Vistas de Tole S.A. company has announced the beginning of construction work at its Vistas de Tole project, at the heart of Panama.

Built on a high plateau, the sprawling domain offers a mix of 276 residences and several installations designed to fully respect the environment in accordance with zero emission principles. With its commanding mountain and Pacific Ocean views, Vistas de Tole proposes a unique combination of luxury and security, providing residents and visitors alike with a full range of high level services, in a luxuriant and safe setting that fosters... balanced hedonism. The first units will be delivered in the fall of 2010 with prices ranging between $ 175,000. and $ 325,000. (U.S.$).

"A project such as ours requires impeccable planning to maintain the equilibrium between luxury and environment and we've considered every single aspect," says Jean-Eudes Tremblay, president of Vistas de Tole S.A. "Panama is an enchanting country with gorgeous landscapes that perfectly blend oceans and mountains. It is also a very safe and politically stable country, an important asset for such a high-level project. An investment in Panama is a secure investment. We also know that our target clientele considers a respectful environmental approach as an essential value. It is, in a certain way, the ultimate luxury."

Construction, which began in June 2009, initially focuses on the main infrastructures, including access roads, water supply and septic systems, shared electrical installations, etc. The use of eco-friendly or recycled materials is maximized. Once built, the project will use solar and geothermic technologies as key energy sources and all recyclable substances or objects will be optimally processed. A paved road of excellent quality leads to the site's main gateway and public electrical infrastructures are already provided.

The project

Vistas de Tole is located less than one hour's drive from David, Panama's second largest city, and easily accessible by road. A few minutes away, a small airport offers inexpensive flights to the capital. The resort covers 86 hectares of high altitude rolling hills, offering spectacular views of nearby mountains and the Pacific Ocean and its splendid beaches - a 20 minutes drive away.

Entirely fenced and protected, the completed project will include 226 luxurious individual residences and 50 condominiums, a 75 rooms five star hotel - with restaurants, spa, gym, boutiques, etc. - as well as a nine hole golf course and many facilities such as pools and park-like rest areas. Residents and visitors alike will have access to several beautiful sites, natural or landscaped, including a river, water basins, gardens, etc.
