Suddes Partners Hires Cathy Coleman

Former Development Director for The Westminster Schools Will Help Guide Firm's Focus on Independent Schools and Educational Institutions

ATLANTA, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 20, 2007 -- Suddes Partners, a leading fundraising consulting firm for non-profits, announced today the hiring of Cathy Coleman as director. Coleman, a fundraising and public relations veteran with more than 25 years of experience, was most recently director of development for The Westminster Schools in Atlanta. Coleman will lead the firm's practice area that is dedicated to independent schools and educational institutions.

Suddes Partners helps non-profit organizations -- including those with limited fundraising experience -- to achieve their vision. In addition to independent schools, the firm also focuses on human services organizations, ministries, youth service organizations, and arts and culture.

The Westminster Schools is one of the most prestigious and significantly endowed private schools in the United States. During her 12-year tenure as Westminster's director of development, Coleman oversaw its Alumni Relations and Annual Fund divisions within its Office for Institutional Advancement, and led the organization to an annual fund campaign goal of $2,625,000.

"Cathy's knowledge and vast experience gained at one of the top private schools in the country will be a tremendous asset to our firm, and more importantly, to our clients," said John M. Suddes, president of Suddes Partners. "Her track record with The Westminster Schools underscores her dynamic leadership abilities and we're very excited to add her to our management team."

"My passion lies within development and cultivation strategies for educational institutions, and I look forward to the new challenges the job will provide," said Coleman. "I'm excited to work with the other professionals at Suddes Partners to assist non-profit organizations in reaching their fundraising goals."

Prior to working with The Westminster Schools, Coleman served as vice president for Local Government and Community Relations for The Florida Sugar Cane League. Earlier, she was also vice president of Community Relations and Development for the Visiting Nurse Association of Palm Beach County (Fla.), a large, non-profit home health agency. During this time, she received the influential Image Award from the Florida Public Relations Association.

Coleman is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She is also an Accredited Public Relations Professional (APRP).
