Sullivan, Cotter and Associates, Inc. Names Ted Chien New President and CEO

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - February 24, 2010) - Sullivan, Cotter and Associates, Inc., one of the nation's top independent compensation, benefits, and human resources management consulting firms, has appointed Theodore (Ted) Chien as the firm's new CEO and President.

Chien previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Client Relationships and was the CEO of Ingenix Consulting within UnitedHealth Group. His prior work includes executive positions with Watson Wyatt Worldwide and Coopers & Lybrand.

In the health care arena, Chien brings his expertise in cost/benefit analysis, benchmarking, business process re-engineering, gap analyses and other measurement activities in conjunction with strategic compensation planning initiatives. He has also assisted in the development of information system strategies to better link providers and purchasers of health care services.

Mr. Chien is a frequent speaker on healthcare informatics, consumer transparency, business model development, employee engagement, and health policy. He will also be opening the new Minneapolis office for the firm.
