SUN Announces "Art of War - II"

Next Event Set for May 11th, 2007

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 23, 2007 -- Following the successful world premiere of "Art of War" Arena Fighting Championship in Dallas March 9th, 2007, SUN Sports & Entertainment Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SSPE) announced today that "Art of War - II" will take place at the Austin Convention Center (Austin, Texas) on Friday, May 11th, 2007.

"Art of War" opened to over 6,700 fans at the American Airlines Center and witnessed a first class mixed-martial arts card that featured a dramatic battle between UFC veterans Pedro Rizzo and Justin Eilers for the IFA World Heavyweight Championship. Rizzo, of Brazil, took the title in a hard-fought slugfest between two of the World's top heavyweights.

For "Art of War - II," the main event will also feature a heavyweight showdown -- this time between former UFC and IFL star Wes "The Project" Sims and Chris "The Guillotine" Gillen. The Sims vs. Gillen fight will headline a ten-bout card that begins at 7:30 pm. They will be vying for a top ranking in the heavyweight division.

According to SUN CEO CJ Comu, it could be déjà vu all over again for the main event. "This is a great match up between two very good heavyweights," Comu stated. "Wes Sims is a gifted and talented fighter who can not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. With that said, he has a real battle on his hands against a very tough and hungry Gillen."

The 6'10", 275-lb. Sims has had an impressive streak of seven wins in a row. Gillen, of Amarillo, Texas, brings with him an impressive record of 15-5.

Austin's "Fast" Freddie Espiricueta is slated to fight Canadian David "The Crow" Loiseau in a featured undercard bout. The remainder of the bouts are to be announced.

The Austin Convention Center, in the heart of downtown, is also the home of the Austin Toros, of the NBA Development League. With a capacity of around 3,500, Comu feels the intimate seating environment will be a big plus for fans. "No question, there isn't a bad seat in the house," said Comu.

"We expect a rowdy, capacity crowd. Austin has a long tradition of having great sports fans and we look forward to our first event there."

"Art of War - II" will be broadcast by Mark Cuban's HDNet. HDNet also produced and aired the world premiere event for "Art of War" in Dallas.
