Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. Amends Form 10-K; No Changes to Statement of Operations or Balance Sheet

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - July 11, 2007) - Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUNH) today announced that it has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) an amendment to its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended Dec. 31, 2006. The amendment was filed to include revisions to certain of the footnotes to Sun's consolidated financial statements and to Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations in response to a comment letter provided to Sun by the SEC following a review of Sun's Form 10-K. The amendment also includes a new footnote to provide information regarding the company's subsidiaries that are guarantors and non-guarantors of Sun's recently issued Senior Subordinated Notes due 2015. The amendment does not include changes to the statement of operations, balance sheet or any other items of the initial Form 10-K filed with the SEC.

In July, Sun expects to file with the SEC an amendment to its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2007, to include revisions consistent with the revisions to the Form 10-K described above.
