Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. Announces New Member of Senior Management Team

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - October 16, 2008) - Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. (SHG) (NASDAQ: SUNH) has announced the appointment of Cindy Chrispell as senior vice president of human resources. In this role, Chrispell will lead the development of human resources strategies and implement programs to ensure the achievement of organizational goals that are consistent with the mission of one of the nation's largest healthcare companies.

Prior to joining Sun, Chrispell served as a vice president of human resources for Starbucks Coffee Company. As a vice president, she provided oversight to the human resources directors who supported a division of 3,500 stores and up to 80,000 employees and aligned the division leadership for maximum business results. Chrispell has a bachelor's degree from Occidental College in L.A.
