Suncor Energy and Aamjiwnaang First Nation partner in the Adelaide Wind Power Project

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - July 6, 2015) - Suncor Energy and Aamjiwnaang First Nation today announced the Suncor Adelaide Wind Limited Partnership. Under the partnership agreement the Aamjiwnaang First Nation has a 25 per cent interest in the Adelaide Wind Power Project.

The 40 megawatt (MW) Adelaide Wind Power Project is located approximately 5 kilometres north of Strathroy, Ont. and has 18 turbines using 2.3 MW Siemens turbine technology.
