Suncor Energy employees, teddy bears and a life-size nutcracker help families in need


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2011) - Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 29, as Suncor Energy employees score goals on the Calgary Hitmen and build a nutcracker out of cans to launch Suncor's Christmas fundraising campaign. The campaign raises funds and secures food donations for a goal that really counts - helping to feed families in need.

Suncor Energy Centre volunteers will construct a life-size nutcracker out of more than 3,700 cans in eight hours. The nutcracker will remain at the Suncor Energy Centre during the holiday season until it is dismantled and the cans are donated to the Calgary Food Bank for Christmas hampers.
