Suncor Energy files annual disclosure documents

Calgary, Alberta (March 10, 2005) — Suncor Energy Inc. reports that it has filed its 2005 annual disclosure documents with Canadian securities commissions and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Suncor's 2005 Annual Report contains the company's audited consolidated financial statements and notes for the year ended December 31, 2005, and related management's discussion and analysis. The 2005 Annual Information Form contains information on Suncor's oil and gas activities, including crude oil and natural gas reserves data, the report of external qualified reserves evaluators, and related report of company management and directors. Suncor also filed with securities commissions its 2006 Management Proxy Circular, providing governance and voting information for shareholders.
