Suncor selected as one of Alberta's Most Respected Corporations

Calgary, Alberta (June 1, 2007) — Suncor Energy Inc. has been selected as one of the Most Respected Corporations in Alberta in 2007 by Alberta Venture magazine.

Suncor was one of three finalists named in the energy sector after a province-wide poll of 3,200 senior executives. Poll respondents ranked companies against six different performance categories: corporate performance, culture of innovation, focus on customer relationships, human resources practices, environmental stewardship and community involvement.

"Earning the respect of all of our stakeholders is an ongoing commitment at Suncor," says Sue Lee, Suncor's senior vice president, Human Resources and Communications. "To be recognized for our efforts by executives across the province is indeed an honour."
All 33 finalist companies will be featured in the June 2007 issue of Alberta Venture.
