Keynote Addresses Highlight American School Health Association Conference: Hilton Burbank Airport and Convention Center, October 19 - 22, 2005

John R. Kuglin, producer of the educational version of the award-winning documentary "Super Size Me," will detail his innovative concept at the All-ASHA Luncheon, Saturday, October 22, at 12:45 pm. Mr. Kuglin, a former teacher, is responsible for creating, developing and patenting the "ee DVD" (educationally enhanced DVD) concept that combines educationally sound materials with Hollywood films.

Pat Cooper, celebrated Superintendent of the McComb School District in Mississippi, for his innovative programs that resulted in gains in student attendance, test scores and teacher productivity as well as reducing dropout, suspension and expulsion rates, will give the Keynote Address "Coordinated School Health: Making the Vision the Mission" at the general session on Friday, October 21 from 10:15 to 11:15 am.

Jack O'Connell, California Superintendent of Public Instruction, will welcome school administrators and conference attendees on Friday morning, October 21, preceding Dr. Cooper's Keynote address at the General Session.
