Supporting the Performing Arts in Owen Sound

OWEN SOUND, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 8, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $20,000 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to support the Roxy Theatre 2015-2016 Professional Presenting Series, a regular performing arts series offered by the Owen Sound Little Theatre.
Larry Miller, Member of Parliament (Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

• The Owen Sound Little Theatre (OSLT) company operates the historic Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound.
• The series includes multidisciplinary performances from a variety of established and emerging Canadian artists from three provinces. It will also include artists from Francophone, Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities.
• The OSLT also offers activities and workshops that provide youth with training in the performing arts.
