Sur American Gold Corporation Changes Name to Cadan Resources Corporation


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 28, 2007) - CADAN RESOURCES CORPORATION (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CNF) - is pleased to announce that effective August 28, 2007, Sur American Gold Corporation has changed its name to "Cadan Resources Corporation" and continued its incorporation from the federal laws of Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act to the laws of British Columbia under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia), as amended. Shareholders of the Company approved the name change and continuance at the annual general meeting held on June 25, 2007. The Company changed its name to reflect its current focus on the recently discovered "Cadan Copper-Gold Porphyry Target", located in Compostela Valley Province, East Mindanao, Philippines which it announced April 22, 2007.

The TSX Venture Exchange has notified the Company that effective as of the opening of the market on Tuesday August 28, 2007, trading in the Company shares will commence under the name "Cadan Resources Corporation" and the trading symbol for the Company will change from SUR to CNF.
