Sustainable Energy, Mitsubishi Electric and Voltaire Power Announce First Western Canada Training Workshop

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 31, 2010) - Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd (TSX VENTURE:STG) ("Sustainable Energy" or the "Company"), Mitsubishi Electric Sales Canada Inc. ("Mitsubishi Electric") and Voltaire Power Company Ltd.("Voltaire Power"), today announced that they will collaborate to offer integrated solar power system solutions combining the patented SUNERGY™ low voltage inverter and the premium, high efficiency Mitsubishi Electric™ solar modules for residential and commercial applications throughout Western Canada.

The two day course will cover all aspects of planning, installing, and commissioning a solar power system utilizing Mitsubishi Electric modules, SUNERGY inverter and the necessary balance of system components.

"We are very pleased to extend our previously announced partnership with Mitsubishi Electric and Voltaire Power outside of Ontario and what a better place to start than Alberta; Canada's second largest photovoltaic market," Said Brent Harris, Vice President of Product Development with Sustainable Energy Technologies.

"Voltaire Power is extremely proud to offer systems that are comprised of Mitsubishi Electric solar and Sustainable Energy Technologies products. The systems are designed to suit Canadian winters perfectly with panel structural integrity and inverter performance warranted from minus 40 degrees Celsius. These designs have a robustness that is unmatched by most other available systems. Training professionals to use these systems is an exciting undertaking," added Miles McDonald, President of Voltaire Power Company.

The training course is scheduled to take place at the Calgary Economic Development (CED) Center located at 1 Street Southeast, Calgary and will run on September 27 and 28, 2010. Electricians, engineers, solar professionals, and home/commercial service businesses looking to expand their opportunities should contact one of the parties for registration details.

About Mitsubishi Electric: Mitsubishi Electric Sales Canada Inc., ( established in 1979 as a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan, markets an extensive line of consumer, commercial and industrial electronics products, some of which include air conditioning and heating systems, projectors, commercial LCD displays and solar modules.

About Voltaire Power: Voltaire Power Company Ltd. is a Canadian-based renaissance company that provides design services, distribution of balance of systems and facilitates financing of solar energy systems for commercial and residential dealer customers. Its solar energy systems are the embodiment of its strategy - the economic deployment of distributed renewable energy technologies.

About Sustainable Energy: Sustainable Energy designs, manufactures and distributes power inverters for grid-connected solar PV systems. Advanced power inverters are a critical enabler of all modern solar PV power systems converting the direct current ("DC") power output of the solar PV modules into the high quality alternating current ("AC") power required by the power grid. Advanced power inverters also optimize the performance of the solar PV modules and maintain the integrity and safety of the interconnection with the power grid.

The extra low operating voltage (50v – 100v) of the SUNERGY ELV platform enables a system architecture that is inherently safe and that can be installed and maintained by most building trades without the need for PV specialists, significantly reducing the installed system cost and increasing investor yields. The SUNERGY inverter is rated for operating conditions ranging from minus 40 degrees Celsius to plus 50 degrees Celsius.

Sustainable Energy's technologies are the subject of multiple patents issued by and pending with the US Patent and Canadian Patent Offices.
